Springs that fuel the Hope and Happiness

I was bit schizophrenic about my decision to attend Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas (PBD)a NRI convention at Delhi by Ministry of External Affairs Government of India, to represent 'Samveda' an NGO, committed to research and training works for children with learning disability, based in Davangere, which I knew through my Philosopher Guide Dr T.N.S. My interaction with the Chairman Suren was limited till I started traveling to Delhi with himself and his team. I was moved by the concern that Mr Suren has towards children with learning disability. More so when I saw Mr Revanth, who had such problem till some time back, and is leading a normal life now. Mr Revanth is in now studying in Second year B.Com. During our travel to Delhi, I used to get lost, especially when was reminded of my brother Vasanth, whom I lost for ever three years ago. Vasanthanna, had a psychological problem that escaped the notice of the family, that was trying to make its existence, prove its status and so on. Vasnthanna was very talented; very good at studies, drawing and was witty too. He was my teacher in so many things and pranks. I remember the days when we had cut throat competition in studies. I used to outsmart him because he was innocent about some of the finer aspects of the competition. The life never gives us a second chance. Vasanthanna failed to make use of the opportunities. After a stage I became helpless watching him sinking day by day. I just cant forget the those last few hours of his departure from this world for ever.Only consolation was that he did not had to suffer any more. In those days of his accute illnes I used to feel that better it would have been, had he died. After I lost him,the vacuum created is something that can never be filled by anyone any day. Love and affection of my doddamma, who left us behind recently, my nephew who failed toe our line of thinking and life, and left home some time ago, were the other things that followed the above sad chain of thoughts.

Suren is doing a wonderful job, I represented 'Samveda' in the NRI Convention at Delhi (VIGYAN BHAVAN, Januray 7 to 9th, 2010) and carried the message of service of Samveda to many people across the World. At the end of the convention it was very gratifying and I felt happy that my time was of some use to an organization that is doing community service. I have been in touch with some such organizations that keeps warning me that burden of our life style is on shoulders of this society. There are many people who run organizations like SAMVEDA, that are the real springs that fuel hopes in the life of Hope less
