WHY THEY RULED US

All the while I was wondering how a small country from the west could enslave the whole world for so long. What is that they have and we lack?

My recent trip to Holland could clear the cloud that shrouded my mind for such a lon time. The Conference on Internationalising Entrepreneurship Education was a good opportunity for me to talk to the world. The papers were good and the crowd was very interesting. It is strange that Maria from Latvia was very exited to know that I am from India. She told me that she was in Bhilai in Rourkee in a Steel Plant as a technician. She also said that she met her husband ( a Latvian) in India. She is a good singer and sang 'Oh Basanthi... pavan paagal..., and Mai chali.. mai chaleee.. There were many who spoke very positively about India, especially IT Industry.

But the Papers were well supported by empirical data and tested statistically. Some times it looked too very abstract for me. But it is what sells in the academic mela. The 'others' like me have many options but without choices.

Prof. Sharada was very nice to me. It was a different experience when I met her Dad, who spent his life in Surinam and now living Holland. the family treasures theirs Indian origin and tries to connect to the roots in India. her husband and kids were nice to me, when I was at their place overnight.

Europe is cool, calm, methodical and different compared to other developed countries of the world. This time I just did not take out my camera, I felt like enjoying, absorbing everything that I saw. At the end I only felt, I missed my Best Half and cute little devil. Perhaps this is going to be my last trip abroad alone.
