Let happiness be there everywhere
One of my well wishers few days ago called me and said that he has suggested my name to a 'think tank' that would weave dreams and ideas about a just and humane society. He also told me that person looking after the project is a former Professor of IIM and a former Minister. I made it very clear that I am only interested in working towards a just, humane and a vibrant civil society that would respect democratic principles. Later I spoke to the person concerned. I was happy that there are many who share a common concerns. At times like this optimism within me grows stronger, and I feel confident about the future of this country. I should share something that happened a few days before. As usual I woke up to the morning news paper. A news item drew my attention. News was about a girl from the marginalised community in a remote village, who appeared for PU exams privately and passed with 86% of marks.
