Visit to Liege, Belgium

Recent trip to Liege Belgium (June 30th to 6th July 2013) left me with something different  and unique. The way Europe and the European community deals with the rest of the world, I found is different. In the academic community I did not find the kind of arrogance that we usually find with the first world. Most of the cities like Zurich, Brussels and Paris makes us feel that the society had some great ideas and 'kind of vision, which though might have put them in the role off civilizing mission. The deliberations in the Conference where fruitful. It was rather enlightening to see people like Johanna Meir, Jacques Defourney, Martah Nayssen, Borgaza... pioneers from the field of social entrepreneurship. Scholars from UK like Mike were extremely courteous towards me and Karthi. I really enjoyed the conference.
