A lecture delivered by Prof. Izaz Ahmed yesterday was wonderful. No doubt it did answer many of the questions that lived with me for long. Of course it did also left me with few more. Prof. Izaz reminded what scholarship really is. It is an exploration of the reason for the chaotic world that we are living in. A scholarly pursuit also has to end with a search for solutions. For the first time I felt for ages I did not listen to an intellectual. Uday
